The Path - Original Painting

The Path is an original acrylic painting on canvas of a stone path winding through a grassy garden with plentiful shrubs and flowers.

Psalm 119:35-37 says "Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to selfish gain! Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways." This painting is intended to remind the viewer of this path.

The psalm begins not with reluctant submission, but with joy: "for I delight in it." The artwork frames God's path not as a restrictive corridor, but as a place of freedom and flourishing. It visualizes the truth that true life is found not in self-determination, but in stepping into the alignment for which we were designed.
